Description: Sand carved glass and acid polished glass
The design focuses on a cross, which forms the centrepiece of the middle panel of the gable end window. Within the cross, the Holy Spirit rises in the form of natural patterns and textures. The dove of peace is shown in the design. The glasswork was created from sandblasted, etched and polished clear glass. This technique gives the cross a wonderful sculptural quality which is enhanced by the backdrop of the trees during the day, and also be visible at night due to the contrast of the surface with the untreated areas of the window.
