The designs are an interpretation of The Creation as written in Genesis.
The commission consists of 13No windows in total, comprising 5No pairs of a single size for Days 1 - 5, 1No much larger pair for Day 6 and a smaller roundel for Day 7. The commission ran from the early 1990s until 2004. The first windows installed were Days 6 & 7. The commissioned resumed in 2001 with Days 1 - 5 being designed as a complete installation, having reference to the earlier set, and were installed over a further period of three years.
